By accessing and using Zipwyn ("Service"), available at zipwyn.navindalc.app, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Zipwyn is a URL shortening service that allows registered users to create shortened links, track click analytics, and generate QR codes. The Service includes a web-based dashboard and REST API endpoints for link management.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must sign in using a Google or GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth provider account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information through your OAuth provider
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to shorten URLs that link to:
- Malware, phishing sites, or any malicious content
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
- Illegal content or activities
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging
- Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech
- Adult content without appropriate age restrictions
We reserve the right to disable any short link or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice.
5. Service Limits
Free accounts are limited to 50 short links. We may impose additional rate limits or usage restrictions to ensure fair use of the Service. We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time with reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Navinda Chandrasiri and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the URLs you shorten and the content they point to.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Zipwyn, its developer, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.
9. Link Availability
While we strive to maintain all short links indefinitely, we reserve the right to remove or disable short links that violate these terms or are inactive for an extended period. We are not responsible for the availability or content of the destination URLs.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately and your short links may be deactivated.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
